A group of our Year 9 & 10 girls have taken part in the incredible BEME project created by Global Tech disrupter Paulette Watson - winner of the Global Wintrade Award for women in Engineering. The goal of the Be Me Project is to raise one million females to aspire to go into careers in the Tech industry.

Our second trip was to KPMG - a multinational professional services network, and one of the Big Four accounting organisations. Our students joined with 2 other schools in taking part in excellent workshops led by a thriving diverse team; that encouraged students to problem solve, use their computational thinking & to be creative and innovative in a variety of team tasks.

The students had opportunities to speak with industry people & take a tour of the building incredible building.  Paulette Watson the creator of BEME project was in attendance & gave an inspirational talk to the students about her successful career pathway in Tech.

This has been an amazing opportunity for the girls & we look forward to expanding the program in the future.
