Dear Parents and Carers,

The video message below explains our new assessment model for Key Stage 3. Students will be assessed at two key points in the academic year and each assessment will reflect what has been taught through our ambitious curriculum across all subject areas.

All students have been assigned a percentage rank within their group as this will allow leaders and teachers to measure performance throughout the academic year.

You will receive two academic reports which will display the percentage scored in each of the assessments taken. We believe this new methodology will drive aspiration and ensure progress is being made by all students.
