Our Year 10 Business students have officially proven that sustainability and commercial success can go hand-in-hand. As part of this year’s Young Enterprise programme, these bright minds launched their own eco-focused company, placing the environment at the heart of their entire business model.

Instead of just talking about saving the planet, the team rolled up their sleeves and set out to tackle waste by turning everyday rubbish into highly desirable products. They successfully launched two innovative main brands:

• Re-scented: Beautiful, aromatic herbal sachets crafted entirely from unwanted old clothes, giving discarded textiles a second, much fresher life.
• Re-lighted: Stunning, cozy ambient lamps creatively upcycled from old glass bottles that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.

An Award-Winning Streak

The students’ dedication, creativity, and sharp business acumen paid off spectacularly. Not only did they impress our local community, but they also completely blew the judges away, winning a number of prestigious awards throughout the competition. Their fantastic teamwork and commitment to a greener future truly set them apart from the crowd.
