Dear Parents/ Carers,

The Year 10 midyear assessments will take place throughout the month of January. The assessment window begins on the 12th January 2026 and will end on the 21st January 2026

Many of the assessments will be completed as a year group in the main hall as part of our preparation for the GCSE examination process. Subjects with non-examined assessments will continue to complete these in classrooms. Students will receive assessment grades in these subjects based on their progress to date.

To support students with planning and revision, a link to the assessment timetable has been included with this letter and uploaded to students’ Google Classrooms, the Student Information Centre, and the school website.

Subject areas have uploaded topic and revision lists to students’ Google Classrooms. This information will support all students as they prepare for their assessments. As always, we ask students to try their best and work to the best of their ability during this time.
