History Trip to Belgium
Well done to Mr Petrie, Miss Whittle, Mr Maylam and all of the students who went to Belgium last week. This annual trip is always excellent and always timed to coincide with Remembrance day. The students met Blue Peter presenter Radzi Chinyanganya as he was filming at the cemetery in Passchendaele as part of Remembrance week on CBBC; he spoke to our students about their trip and school. The students had a fantastic Historical learning experience, visiting the trenches and tunnels but also found time for a trip to the Chocolate factory!
New York Trip
Thank you to Mrs Raymond for organising and running the fantastic Annual trip to New York. The GCSE Art students soaked up all of the wonderful architecture including the imposing Statue of Liberty and the Empire state Building as well as paying their respects at the Ground Zero memorial. Another amazing and successful international trip.
