Careers and Further Education
Bonus Pastor believes passionately that careers guidance and valuable work experience is vital to the growth, development and success of its students.
For seven years Bonus Pastor has achieved a 0% NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) figure. This means that every pupil goes on to further education, employment or training. This has been achieved through the on-going monitoring, coaching and guidance of the students. The college employs an independent, impartial and fully qualified careers advisor to give guidance and support along with a personally tailored action plan for each student.
Citizenship Days are a fixed and established part of the curriculum. They are also used to bring in employers from a variety of different sectors to talk about and to encourage pupils to consider their future options. It is a way for the college to broaden the student’s options and aspirations.
If you would like to know more about the college’s provision for further education and employment guidance please feel free to contact Mr Collis.
