End of an outstanding Year!

As the 2017-18 academic year draws to a close we reflect on all of the amazing and exciting events that have taken place throughout the year. It has been a joy to see the enriching activities that our students have been involved in. There have been a huge number of trips which have included fantastic locations all of the world and many opportunities to showcase the talents and hard work of all students in the school.

The college was graded Outstanding by Ofsted in September and Outstanding by the Catholic Education commission in May!

We would like to say thank you to all of the parents who have supported at all of the Music, Drama, House and Sports events. Your support is always appreciated and helps to bring a vibrant and positive atmosphere to all occasions.

Our last day of term is Tuesday 17th July 2018 and is a half day

We wish our Year 11 students all the very best with their GCSE results on the 23rd August which can be collected from 9am to 11am on that day.

Growing Doctors

Director of Public Health Danny Ruta joined our next generation of budding
Doctors as the Science department hosted the Growing Doctors project for 2018.   Well done to all who took part, we hope they feel inspired to join the profession.

The big Art Exhibition
Thank you to all parents and staff who came to enjoy the fantastic Art GSCE work this year. We wish all Art Students well this summer. The quality of work is
amazing!

‘Our Day Out’ Production

We were treated to a wonderful open air production of Willy Rusell’s ‘Our Day Out’ last week with students from year 7 to year 10 displaying some very accomplished performances! Some Oscar winners in the making! Thank you to Ms Clarke, Ms Mannings, Mr Jones and Ms Bee for all the time put into rehearsals.

Start of term organisation

A reminder to all students that upon their return to school in September, they are expected to have the following basic equipment with them in every lesson: 3 black pens – biros not felt tip, a pencil, ruler, rubber, your exercise book, your planner and pencil case. Eating, chewing and drinking, other than water, are not allowed in lessons. Each department will expect you to always record your homework in your planner and complete it to the best of your ability and by the deadline set.

I would like to wish everyone a lovely, peaceful and safe summer holiday.

Keep safe and God Bless

Mr Ronan ~ Head of School
